You should never give anyone access to your Nest account. It can compromise the security of your devices/account and it could create unexpected behavior from features (for example the Home/Away assist). Invite your friends and family to share access to the devices in your home by using ‘Family Accounts.’ Everyone you invite can create their own login information using the Nest app. Once they have been linked to your account they can interact with the devices on their own smartphone. In the Nest app select the ‘Gear’ icon and then choose ‘Family’ to get started.
