What can you do?
A Wi-Fi range extender for $30 might seem like an easy solution. Before you make a purchase be aware these devices are meant to service a specific dead zone, not to increase signal coverage throughout the home. In a best case scenario the extender will expand the Wi-Fi signal but there is a price as the speed is often less than half what you would get when connected to the router. Also, extenders do not handle handoffs very well, so expect interruptions to the user experience when walking around with a connected device.
